Enhancing Riviera
About us
Since the establishment of the Riviera Neighbourhood Watch in January 2015, crime has been decreasing but remains a problem in our area.
To further address our assault against crime as well as other issues arising in our area, RHIBO (Riviera Homeowners, Inhabitants and Businesses Organisation), a non-profit company, was established.
The vision of RHIBO is to enhance the safety and security measures in Riviera and will act as a single voice for the neighbourhood in all matters that affect the quality of living as well as doing business in Riviera. RHIBO is associated with the Moot Sector 1 Community Policing Forum (CPF), which is directly associated with the Moot SAPS.

Our Objectives
Our objectives are to:
- Increase property values
- Fight crime
- Address problem areas in our community
- Uplift our community
- Ensure residents and business owners are updated on what is going on in the Riviera Community
Current Initiatives
Current initiatives that are implemented are:
- The RHIBO Neighbourhood Watch (consisting of community volunteers patrolling the streets in their own time; using their own vehicles, fuel and funds)
- RHIBO WhatsApp Group – to serve as a source of information and means of communication for residents
- Radio Network Project (to ensure fast response to incidents by Kilner Park Security, Quattro Security as well as Moot SAPS)
- Sign boards erected at all entrances to Riviera
